We all scream for ICE CREAM

Aswell as being a complete cupcake fanatic - i also have a thing for ice cream and ice cream parlours :)

When i visited home (up north) last weekend, my best friend took me to our favourite place to get ice cream - Fredericks. Im not sure if there is more than one, i think there is but they are all based in the North West.

They do SO many flavours, i usually take about an hour just to decide what i even want!

http://www.fredericksicecream.co.uk/icecream.htm

Take a look at the above link to see all the flavours they do. I opted for a wafer oyster (filled with marshmallow *drool*) with marshmallow icecream and fudgerydoo mmm...

Mine & Becky's treat for the weekend!!!

YUM!

# Next time i really want to try vimto flavour and ameretto :)

My week in words, pictures and lyrics

Firstly, i would just like to say a MASSIVE thank-you and woo hoo to my new followers! Yes, it's only a handful but it's a start (hopefully one day i'll have hundreds if not thousands after blogging properly!) I really appreciate it, as hopefully it will start the ball rolling!

I hope to start blogging properly soon, doing make-up reviews, OOTD's and FOTD/N's :) and on a daily basis if i can fit it in! I've recently just moved down south after being a Northern monkey for most of my life, so im still adjusting to my new area, job and lifestyle!

What have I been listening to this week?

This week i've been listening to quite an ecletic mix of genres on my beloved iPhone!

Firstly - Examples album Won't Go Quietly. I adore the lyrical genius that is Elliot Gleave! My favourite songs from this album have to be Millionaires, Won't Go Quietly, Kickstarts, Two Lives and Watch The Sun Come Up. If you haven't listened to this album, then seriously, get it NOW!

My heart melts when i hear this song. The piano is just AMAZING.

Now, i don't know about aybody else, but i found this years Brit Awards a total letdown! The only good thing about it, was Adele's beautiful performance of her new song Someone Like You. So I have been listening to her debut album 19 and her current album 21 - both fantastic! I think Adele is stunning, and PROVES you don't have to be a size 6 to be gorgeous!!!

I had hoped you'd see my face, and that you'd be reminded that for me it isn't over

Another strong, powerful female who i idolise and love to listen to is the fabulous Nicki Minaj. She is like no other artist around, she is so unique, and a lyrical diva. I absolutely love her new song with Drake Moment For Life - I love her British accent as a fairy god mother...

But to live doesn't mean your alive

Weekly Rant #*!%*?

So, apparently, it is a known fact that i am abit of a drama queen, who is an impatient diva who needs a good moan every now and again, hard to believe i know!

Rant #1 - I have a VERY poorly thumb atm :( it is swollen and hurts like hell, along with this, i am going to do a "blogger first" for me and admit an embarrassing secret. I suck my thumb. Yes, there we are, i said it! And it just so happens to be my "sucking thumb" and im finding it very difficult to get to sleep, it's like my comfort blanket! So i am hoping it will get better very soon. I also have a poorly mouth (obv not having the best of luck this week hey?) so i've been finding it really hard to eat properly, and can't have spicy food which i love :( Basically to sum up - no sleep and not much food makes me a massive grumpy knickers!

Rant #2 - I really want these fabulous stocking-esque tights from House Of Holland however, as i am guessing they only come in teeny sizes and i am a size 16/18 and 5ft11 tall, i think it's a sure thing to say that unless i am planning on either wearing them as socks, only having them for ornamental purposes or having a fight and most likely losing Me 0 - 1 Tights, it's best they stay in the shop for the skinny people of this oh so fine world. *SOBS*
House Of Holland Suspender Tights £12

Rant #3 - I WANT TO BE RICH NOW PLEASE!!!

Hope all you beautiful bloggers are feeling fabulous today - Much Love xoxo

Weekly Wants (NEED)!

I don't really have much to say on these stockings from Agent Provocateur, except that they're fabulous and i need them in my life NOW!!!

Agent Provocateur £35

Valentines - V is for Vera

I haven't done a post in a short while (even though i STILL don't have any followers, *diva strop*) however, it keeps me sane, and hopefully when i have followers, they will appreciate my posts :)

Anywho - this is a (slightly delayed) post about Valentines. Now, im not the biggest fan of the commercial "holiday", i despise all things cliché : A dozen red roses, chocolates, cuddly toys etc. All things of the variety that course me to vom. HOWEVER, when i recieve a beautiful Vera Wang vase for my new home, i can HARDLY complain now, can i?

I have yet to decide a place for the little beauty, but as my new dining room table has just arrived, it may be taking prized place there as my centre piece, filled with my favourite flowers - lillies. I will post a picture when i have decided :)

I also recieved a beautiful dress, which i will feature in another post, and tickets to see one of my favourite Northerners - Peter Kay! I hope everybody had a lovely day, whatever you did <3 may the love be with you.

MAC or Chanel?

So i really want to treat myself to some high quality make-up brushes, but im unsure which set to go for? MAC? Or Chanel?

I definately want the Dior body bronzer brush, because it's just so big and fabulous! Abit pricey at about £35 RRP however, due to reccomendation from a good friend of mine - i think it's definately another item i need in my life!

MAC are usually the most popular when it comes to make-up brushes, because all the professional make-up artists use them. Well if it's good enough for them...

I Fancie A Cupcake

I think i have just found an extremely good reason to lose my Sheffield virginity - Fancie Cupcakes!

These little beauts look lush - i came across them via blogging, and as i am throwing a Cupcake & Cocktail party for my 21st in June, i checked out the website and became a fan of there Facebook page too (they have alot more pictures and info on there)

If anybody has visited this triumph of tasty treats - then i'd love some reviews on them? Or any other cupcake companys?

xoxo

I NEED this in my life!!!

I have only recently started to like lipstick, i only used to use neutral coloured, shimmery lip glosses - however i have recently been looking at all the colours that Barry M and MAC carry.

I NEED to have #Shocking Pink by Barry M ASAP :) It's LUSH!

I love how Rhianna wears it - This is an old pic clearly (she hasn't got that GORGEOUS red hair of hers here - i'll be doing a post about that soon) but she still looks simply amazing!

You had me at "Hello"...

Well, hello guys! Im brand new to all this blogging jazz - so i'll start with a little introduction...

My name is Laura, im 20 and im from a little place called Leyland however i now live in Gloucester.
I decided to create my own blog because i read so many fantastic ones everyday. My favourite types of blogs are ones about fashion, make-up and all things girly!

This blog is going to be about clothes, shoes, make-up, cocktails, cupcakes, fashion and all things that make me happy (however they're may be times were i need to have a complete soapbox rant)

My layout isn't upto scratch just yet, infact it's NOTHING like i want it to be, so experienced bloggers, please help me out and give me advice!!!

Future blogs to come, hopefully alot more exciting than this first attempt of an entry :)

Much Love xoxo
